According to the dictionary...To Repair is to "simply put together the figurine that is broken"; "mend", or "patch up". Performing a Swarovski Repair on your broken Swarovski crystal figurine will make it 'look prettier'. Unless someone knows your crystal was broken, the repair job may go unnoticed. However, the Repaired Swarovski will not have value anywhere near a MINT crystal figurine, as the repaired item is considered damaged or 'not mint' by the Swarovski crystal collecting crowds. Advantage: Less expensive, as no replacement components are required. Disadvantage: Though the figurine may look ‘good’ sitting on the shelf, it retains little value. Consideration: Broken component of the figurine must have little damage. If the figurine is shattered, there is nothing to repair. |
